Today we got to test our rain gear....it's been raining all week and this morning the conditions looked to be about the same.

We met at Siesta Village and everyone put on their ponchos as a light shower started. By the time we were on the beach the rain had stopped and it's hot walking in plastic so we shed the rain gear and it was very comfortable walking.

We were so comfortable that we walked further than expected, logging in 7.5 miles. The cloudy skies, and light breeze made for perfect conditions.

We have a very dedicated group, 10 regulars today, (a few away for the weekend) and most are returning again tomorrow when we do the Ringling Causeway walk.

We have shared our stories and walking hints. I feel so happy to have such a great group of women to train with.
